Created as a collaborative initiative with my classmates, this site serves as a vital resource to educate, commemorate, and promote social change regarding gender-based violence in Italy.

Awareness & Education

Violence against women is a systemic issue with deep historical and cultural roots. This section explores the structural factors behind the phenomenon, emphasizing that violence is a manifestation of power and control. We advocate for a multi-level approach: from early-age gender education to the rigorous application of laws to protect victims.

Support & Action

A call to action that goes beyond theory. We highlight the essential need for comprehensive support systems including: psychological, legal, and economic aid. The platform features the 1522 emergency helpline as a high visibility tool, ensuring that those in immediate danger have a direct link to professional assistance.

Stories of Remembrance

To honor the victims, we developed dedicated memorial pages that transform cold statistics back into human narratives. These sections provide a respectful and deep look into the lives and stories of women like Giulia Tramontano and Yara Gambirasio, ensuring their memory serves as a catalyst for a more conscious and respectful society.
